Course Information
How does the 'Express' assessment work?
Our Express model respects your time. You complete the theory portion online at your own pace (approx 30 – 90 minutes) before attending a short, focused practical session. This reduces face-to-face time to just 30 mins for CPR, 60 mins for First Aid & 90 mins for Childcare First Aid.
How long is my certificate valid for?
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid & HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (Childcare First Aid) is valid for 3 years. The CPR component (HLTAID009) is valid for 1 year & is recommended to be refreshed every 12 months in accordance with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.
Is there an age limit?
What should I wear to class?
Please wear comfortable, casual clothing as you will be kneeling on the floor to perform CPR and are required to perform physical first aid techniques as part of your assessment.
Certification & Booking
When will I receive my certificate?
On the same day* you complete your course! We pride ourselves on same-day issuance. As long as you have completed your online pre-learning and passed the practical assessment, your certificate will be accessible via the online portal (*T&Cs apply).
Is this training nationally recognised?
Absolutely! FAP First Aid is a leading Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO #46449). All courses, including our express CPR, first aid and childcare first aid training, meet national standards and are recognised by employers across Australia.
Can I reschedule my booking?
Yes. You can reschedule your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before your session via the link in your confirmation email. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may incur a fee.
